CSCS Unveils AI-Powered App Upgrade to Simplify Card Applications and Boost Building Safety Compliance

CSCS has launched a major upgrade to its My CSCS app, introducing an AI-driven application process and new features designed to help workers and employers comply with the Building Safety Act. 

The upgraded app allows users to apply for and renew CSCS cards directly in-app, access their digital CSCS card for site entry, and generate a CV-style resume showcasing skills, training, and qualifications, including CPD, SMSTS/SSSTS courses, and fire safety training. 

A standout feature is the AI-powered card application process, which simplifies applying for or renewing a card. Users can now upload a copy or photo of their qualification, and the app will automatically recommend the correct card based on their occupation and credentials. This ensures workers hold the right card for their role, supporting safer and compliant worksites. 

The My CSCS app, the official app from CSCS, has received a significant upgrade with AI-powered features designed to make card applications faster, easier, and more accurate.

The My CSCS app is also part of the Digital Skills Passport initiative, allowing workers’ qualifications and training records to travel with them across sites. Integrated with CSCS Smart Check, it ensures that only workers with the right skills and credentials are on-site, enhancing compliance with the Building Safety Act.
